Matzo Ball Soup from Loeb’s Deli. This was much better than the potato pancakes. The texture of the matzo ball was not too hard or too fluffy. Some of the matzo balls that I’ve had in the DC area are dry in the middle (not good). The broth was okay. It didn’t taste homemade which is a shame. If it had been homemade the carrots and celery would have been softer since they would have been boiling in the broth for hours. I would, however, come back for this soup.
